“Many of our Morris County schools that transitioned to remote learning in March have now had their first experiences bringing students and teachers back into their classrooms,” said Bucco (R-25). “While we are only a week into the new school year, it’s likely that a lot has been learned already about what works along with what needs to be done to improve the process. I’m looking forward to having this important discussion with our local superintendents.”
Bucco will engage in the round-table discussion with the Morris County Association of School Administrators on Friday.
“I’m glad our Morris County superintendents are participating in this collaborative process to share best practices with each other during this extremely challenging time for our school communities,” added Bucco. “I’m particularly interested in discussing whether there are any stumbling blocks they have identified that require legislative fixes from Trenton. If so, I am committed to working with our schools to resolve those issues as quickly as possible.”
