How Much New School Aid Will Your District Receive?

As a result of the balanced state budget that was recently signed by Governor Chris Christie and upheld by Senate Republicans, New Jersey school districts will receive $850 million in new state aid in the 2011-2012 school year.

This $850 million increase in school aid, combined with the recently enacted two percent property tax cap and the passage of historic public employee pension and benefit reforms, will provide significant property tax relief to New Jersey residents.
