The mobile office will have staff from the 2nd district legislative office to assist with issues the residents of the district are having including assistance with unemployment, Division of Motor Vehicles, utility bills and will have information on the various programs and services offered through the State of New Jersey and Atlantic County.

“We committed to providing the best constituent services in the history of Atlantic County and this is one of the tools we will be using to fulfill that commitment,” said Senator Polistina.  “By getting our staff out to senior centers, libraries, municipal buildings and other facilities, our office will be visible and accessible to the community and poised to offer assistance to anyone who needs it.”

“With our staff’s ability to speak numerous languages and technological advancements which allow for remote work, we are extremely excited to be able to bring these services to everyone throughout Atlantic County,” said Assemblyman Guardian.  “We have seen such a need from people who could use some help and are eager to make sure we are there to do what we can.”

“In addition to our constituent services, we will also be making sure people are knowledgeable about the many programs and services available to assist them,” said Assemblywoman Swift. “We have found that some people are not aware of help they may qualify for or how to access the benefits of programs including the Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement, veterans tax help, and assistance with utility bills. Through our mobile outreach, we will have information on these programs and more, and be able to guide people to the help they need.”

The first mobile office will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Galloway Township Senior Center, 621 West White Horse Pike, in Egg Harbor City.

A schedule for other office hours and locations throughout the county will be developed and distributed through the partnership with Atlantic County.
