“The violent attacks from Hamas on the Jewish People of Israel are barbaric and unjust. My heart goes out to the innocent victims and their families. As we continue to learn more details from the past few days, the impact of these horrendous attacks continue to be felt throughout New Jersey especially for our Jewish friends and neighbors” said Corrado. “New Jersey must stand with the people of Israel and condemn the atrocities unfolding at the hands of Hamas terrorists. The Legislature should return to Trenton to show our united and steadfast commitment to Israel and its citizens.”

Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips announced his intention to introduce the assembly version of the senate resolution.

“New Jersey must show a united front in standing with the Jewish People in the wake of these horrific attacks,” said DePhillips. “Innocent women and children have lost their lives at the hands of Hamas terrorists. Americans abroad had their lives cut short because of these vicious attacks. The assembly must formally adopt a resolution expressing our unwavering support for Israel and stand in solidarity with our Jewish communities.”

Senate Republicans announced their intentions to introduce a resolution supporting Israel earlier today.
