Cardinale Votes ‘NO’ on Gas Tax Hike
After voting against the gas tax, Senator Gerald Cardinale (R-Bergen, Passaic) had the following statement:

“Constituents have been calling my office and reaching out to me online all week, and their message is clear. They can’t afford this massive gas tax increase. Their voices were heard, I voted ‘no.’ I’ll continue working to bring down our out-of-control road construction costs and ensure their tax dollars aren’t wasted.”
