“Secretary of State Tahesha Way has an impeccable record of public service and I welcome the news of her being sworn into her new role as Lieutenant Governor. Although she has big shoes to fill, the decades of experience that she has serving as Secretary of State, an administrative law judge, and former Passaic County Commissioner speaks to her dedication and commitment to the people of New Jersey. Like her predecessor, the late Sheila Oliver, Tahesha is a trailblazer for women. I’m confident she will do great work for the people of New Jersey as Lieutenant Governor.”
