Senate Republican leader Tom Kean released the following statement regarding fully funding the PAAD and Senior gold prescription programs in the Fiscal Year 2011 budget:
“Governor Christie has shown we can take a balanced approach that ensures senior’s access to affordable prescription medicine without higher taxes. It’s time for the Legislature to move forward with a budget that makes New Jersey more affordable for the middle class, promotes small business job growth, and restores theĀ fiscal discipline that has been missing from Trenton for a long time.”
