Senator Sean Kean Will Serve on Republicans for Environmental Protection Board
Senator Sean Kean has been elected to serve as a Director on the Board of Republicans for Environmental Protection.
The group, known as REP America, is a national non-profit organization that was founded in 1995 to preserve and protect the environment.
“I have been closely involved with REP America for many years and am honored to have the opportunity to serve as a director on their board,” said Kean, R-Monmouth. “I plan to use my position to aid in their mission of supporting responsible environmental policies.”
REP America’s mission statement states that the organization was founded to resurrect the GOP’s great conservation and sound environmental protection as fundamental elements of the Republican Party’s vision for America.
“This organization strives to conserve America’s resources in order to protect the environment and the economy,” said Kean. “REP America has been a powerful advocate in protecting the environment and I look forward to assisting them in their efforts.”
REP America’s efforts include fighting for energy conservation, global warming prevention, clean air and water, and conservation lands.
“It is important that we act now to protect the environment for future generations to enjoy,” added Kean.
