Tell the Legislature to Ban Red Light Cameras in New Jersey! Sign the Petition!

I agree with legislation proposed by Senator Mike Doherty that would eliminate the use of red light camera systems which automate the process of issuing tickets to drivers.

I believe that red light cameras are an invasion of privacy, may be unconstitutional and likely result in more accidents rather than less. They represent little more than a money grab by towns and the state.

By signing this petition, I agree the New Jersey Legislature must pass Senator Doherty's bill to prohibit red light cameras NOW!
