Authorities Must Provide The Public With Full Disclosure Concerning Recalled Products
Senator Kevin O’Toole (R-40) is calling on State and Federal Authorities to increase both inspections at food processing facilities and when problems are identified, full disclosure to the public. Last week the Senator asked New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram to investigate the possible return of 2 million pounds of contaminated products, processed by the Topps Meat Company, to the food distribution stream. A letter asking Attorney General Anne Milgram to investigate is attached.

Senator Kevin O’Toole (R-40) responded today to published reports that a laptop containing the personal data of more than 300,000 customers of Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey was stolen earlier this month. It was reported that the laptop was being taken home by an employee who regularly works with customer data outside of Horizon offices.

Nearly 600 Complaints Received Since the New Year
Senator Kevin J. O’Toole, (R-40), called today on Gregory Paw, the Director of the Division of Criminal Justice in the Department of Law and Public Safety, to open a criminal investigation into Celebration Studios Inc. Celebration Studios based in Chester, Morris County, New Jersey contracted with customers to provide photography and videography services for weddings. Celebration Studios closed at the beginning of this month.
