Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Does Job Efficiently
The six Republican members of the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee commended the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs today for spending agency money in a responsible and cost-efficient manner while providing services to our honored veterans.
It was made evident today that the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs not only proudly represents the men and women who faithfully served our country, but also operates in an open and effective manner that represents a great value to both taxpayers and veterans.
The New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs provides aid and assistance to veterans and their dependents. The benefits and programs provided for our military heroes include post traumatic stress counseling, homeless intervention, tuition assistance and job training.
The importance of providing for our veterans and their families cannot be overstated. We are pleased to hear that the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is affording our veterans the services and programs they so rightfully deserve. We commend the Department personnel for the services they provide and the manner in which they provide them.
Senators Anthony Bucco (R-25), Kevin O’Toole (R-40), Steve Oroho (R-24), Phil Haines (R-8), Joe Pennacchio (R-26) and Marcia Karrow (R-23) comprise the Republican members of the Budget and Appropriations Committee.
