Senator Anthony R. Bucco (R- Morris/Somerset) today said he is pleased with the Christie Administration’s award of $259,600 in County Recycling Enhancement Grant Act funds to Morris County.
“Recycling Enhancement grants are an important means of preserving the financial viability of county-wide and municipal recycling programs,” Bucco said. “Encouraging participation in recycling programs is all about convenience for the consumer, and grants such as this one help Morris County and its municipalities provide superior service to residents and business owners.”
The Recycling Enhancement Act was signed into law in 2008 to provide a sustainable revenue stream for recycling and solid waste management activities at the municipal and county level.
