Assemblyman Scott Rudder was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly in November, 2007. He has served on the Medford Township Council for ten years, including three years as mayor.

Assemblyman Rudder graduated from West Virginia University and started his career working for Congressman Jim Saxton on military and veterans' issues in Washington, D.C. He later worked in the administration of Governor Christine Todd Whitman, as well as for Speaker Jack Collins in the Assembly Republican office.

He is a former member of the New Jersey National Guard. He has spent the past six years as a Senior Manager of Business Development for Lockheed Martin.

Assemblyman Rudder and his wife, Suzanne, have two daughters.
